Mylar Film

Mylar® is the name of a popular polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film from Mylar Specialty Films.  Mylar® is technically BoPET (biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate), however, most printers and processors know it by “Mylar”.  It is a prominent film used in a variety of applications across electronics, food packaging, industrial specialty, cast & release, and graphics markets due to its balanced tensile properties, good adhesion, excellent moisture and chemical resistance, and ability to withstand temperatures from -75°C to 150ºC.

Mylar® polyester films are ideal products for high volume, dependable industrial performance.  Additionally, the vast portfolio of lidding and sealant films under the Mylar® brand have dependable heat seal performance to various tray substrates, with self-venting and food shelf life extending properties.

Our Mylar polyester film sheeting supply and converting capabilities produce a vast range of options.  This means you get exactly the solution you need for your project.

We have a wide variety of sheet sizes up to 1430mm x 2200mm and have various interleave and edge bonding options. Our state of the art guillotine which enables us to cut sheets to very close tolerances.

We also have the facility to print a unique code on every sheet produced, providing individual sheet traceability.

Mylar Roll

As one of the UK’s leading Mylar polyester film slitting specialists, we are able to offer more choice of length, width, thickness of Mylar polyester film rolls.  From full master rolls 2100mm to 20mm width.  Rolls can be upto 36,000m depending on the thickness.  We can reduce waste with fully programmable, computer-controlled, state-of-the-art KAMPF slitting machines.  As a customer you can have peace of mind knowing you are working with a leading company who uses the latest technology.
