About HIFI
HIFI Polyester Film was founded in 1985 by a Dutch entrepreneur.
He saw an opportunity to set up a polyester conversion and distribution operation in the UK. Our founder was passionate to ensure HIFI Polyester Film became a market leader in the conversion and distribution of polyester film.
Our Story
HIFI started with one sheeting machine converting film for one customer.
Since then, we have continually invested heavily in plant, stocks, and personnel. This has enabled us to offer a bespoke conversion service across a vast range of films and materials.
The family have continued to successfully manage the business with the same passion and commitment to high quality and customer service. In 2022 the management agreed to rename HIFI Industrial Film to HIFI Polyester Film. The name change occurred as the company felt its name should reflect the material it was trading. The bird of paradise flower, which sits behind HIFI on the logo, was chosen as this was our founder’s favourite flower.
Our head office is in the UK, and through sales offices in Holland, France and Ireland, HIFI Polyester Film now supplies over 10,000,000m² of film every year to customers worldwide.
Our focus remains on supplying top quality products and providing an excellent service to our customers. We are ISO 9001 : 2015 and BRCGS packaging standard accredited.
HIFI are also keen to explore new technologies and opportunities for converting materials other than polyester film.

Service Machinery
We use high-precision slitting machines sourced from Kampf and other global manufacturers.
We have a unique heat stabilisation machine and clean room capabilities.
These advanced systems ensure exceptional accuracy, consistent quality, and minimal waste – delivering custom widths and lengths to meet the most demanding specifications.
