Instead of simply supplying standard film rolls, HIFI can slit, sheet, stabilise, pack, label and prepare BOPET, Mylar® and Melinex® films according to each customer’s production needs. This makes HIFI a valuable partner for companies looking for reliable material supply, technical advice, repeatable quality and production-ready polyester film formats.
HIFI Industrial Film supplies a wide range of technical polyester films for industrial applications, including clear PET film, white polyester film, heat-stabilised polyester film, printable polyester film, metallised film, chemically treated film, low-curl film and specialist grades such as Mylar®, Melinex®, PMX, SU, Jetcopy and UVJ films. These products are used in flexible electronics, healthcare diagnostics, labels, digital printing, traditional printing, packaging, tickets, cards and archival preservation.
HIFI offers several polyester film converting services, including precision slitting, custom sheeting, guillotine cutting, rewinding, clean room conversion, heat stabilisation, bespoke labelling, barcode identification, protective packaging, interleaving and call-off stock supply. This allows customers to receive polyester film in the exact reel, sheet or packaged format required for their production line, reducing internal handling, waste and preparation time.
HIFI can slit polyester film into custom reel widths from 20 mm to 2100 mm, with reel lengths up to 36,000 m, film thicknesses from 12 µm to 500 µm, and core options including 76 mm and 152 mm. For sheeted material, HIFI can produce custom polyester film sheets up to 1430 mm × 2200 mm, with options such as tissue or paper interleaving, coding, traceability and bespoke packing. These capabilities are ideal for printing, electronics, diagnostics, labels, displays, cards and industrial components.
Yes. HIFI offers clean room polyester film conversion for applications where cleanliness, surface quality and controlled handling are critical. Clean room slitting capabilities include reel widths from 20 mm to 1650 mm, film thicknesses from 12 µm to 500 µm, and width tolerances of around ±0.25 mm on most reels, subject to specification. This service is particularly relevant for healthcare diagnostics, biosensors, optical films, printed electronics, automotive electronics, photovoltaic materials and other contamination-sensitive applications.
HIFI can supply and process heat-stabilised polyester film for applications where shrinkage, registration, flatness and dimensional accuracy are critical. Heat-stabilised films are used in flexible printed circuits, RFID antennas, FFC, printed electronics, membrane switches, labels, medical components and photovoltaic applications. HIFI also supports stockholding, call-off supply and conversion from master rolls into customer-specific reels or sheets, helping customers improve supply continuity, reduce storage needs and receive production-ready film when required.
