Polyester film is an exceptional medium for labels and tags and is widely used for thermal transfer, computer imprintable, barcode and security labelling. Its high resistance to heat also makes it suitable for tagging of hot items.
We stock an extensive range of white, clear and metallised polyester film for label face and siliconised films for release liners.
Labelling films are available in thicknesses from 12 to 500 microns.

Melinex® 339 is a high opacity white polyester film with a glossy satin finish and a pre-treatment on both surfaces to promote adhesion to many printing inks and industrial coatings. This product can be used as a base for pressure sensitive labels, security printing and pre-paid card, multiple use tickets and many other general printing applications.

Melinex ® 406 is a sparkling, optically clear polyester film, pretreated on both sides to promote adhesion to inks and lacquers. The film is suitable for applications where high transparency is important.

Mylar® A is a very tough, general purpose, untreated polyester film with excellent handling characteristics which makes it suitable for many industrial applications. It has a hazy appearance and a rough surface to provide ease of handling and processability.

Melinex® S is a general purpose untreated polyester film, with a hazy appearance and excellent handling characterisics. It can be used in a wide range of industrial applications.

SRF122 is a moderate haze polyester film with a silicone coating on one surface. Along with high strength, flexibility and chemical resistance, it provides good dimensional stability and excellent slip over a wide temperature range. This product is suitable for many industrial applications that require a high performance release film. Because the silicone is highly cured, there is essentially no migration of the silicone to any adhesive which may be in contact with the film. This film is not permitted to be used in food or drug applications within the EU.

MEX17C is a single-side metallised polyester film with a slightly hazy mirror finish. The non-metallised surface is specially treated to promote adhesion to most industrial inks and coatings.

PMX176 is widely used in applications where high quality printing is required.
