A wide range of polyester film suitable to help all printable electronics requirements
Optimum performance in electronic applications requires effective heat management.
Thermal stability is very important for a range of applications where any temperature related movement of the polyester film has the potential to cause problems with the printed circuit – for this reason we have made a large investment in a heat stabilisation line, able to produce polyester film with a 100 fold improvement in thermal stability compared to standard PET film, thus producing product suitable for virtually any application. These range from; Membrane touch switches (MTS), flexible printed circuitry(FPC), RFID antennas, display applications and sensors.
We can also offer non-stabilised polyester films. These are more cost effective but still provide enhanced environmental resistance and tolerance to high temperatures.

SU320 Is a high clarity, high gloss, heat-stabilised polyester film manufactured by HIFI Polyester Film. It has an adhesion promoting pre-treat on both sides and is suitable for flexible circuits, membrane touch switch, specialised graphics and other applications where it is important to have the minimum level of shrinkage during processing

SU642 is a high clarity, heat stabilized polyester film from HiFi Industrial Film. It features an adhesion enhancing pretreatment on one side and is suitable for flexible circuits, membrane touch switches, specialty graphics and other applications where it is important to achieve a minimum of shrinkage during processing.

SU749 is apearlescent satin finish white opaque, heatstabilised polyester film manufactured by HIFI PolyesterFilm. It is available in various thicknesses. It comes with an acrylic pre-treatment on both sides enhancing adhesion to most inks and coatings. Often used as abase product for electronic printing, security printing, pressure and/or medical sensors and many more industrial applications where it is important to have an opaque substrate with the minimum level of shrinkage during processing.

Melinex® 506 is a sparkling, optically clear polyester film, treated on both surfaces to promote excellent adhesion to most inks and coatings. It is often used in the graphics industry where its excellent clarity and printing adhesion are utilised.
