Mylar® RL52AF is a biaxially oriented polyester film with an EVA based heat-sealable coating incorporating ant-fog properties on one surface and plain polyester on the other. It is typically used as a heat sealable lidding film for fresh refrigerated foods such as salads, produce and sandwiches. Mylar® RL52AF provides a peelable seal when heat-sealed to APET, CPET, PVC, polyethylene and polystyrene. Seals to polypropylene are only achieved at higher temperatures, so other RL films are recommended. In cooking applications Mylar® RL52AF is not suitable for use in conventional ovens and has temperature limitations when used in microwave ovens. The anti-fog properties minimise fogging during freezing, chilling and cooking and also improves clarity when ‘breathable’ products such as fresh vegetables are packed.
Complies with the following European regulations and directives: EU10/2011 and its amendment 1282/2011 relating to materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.

Mylar® OLAF is a biaxially oriented polyester film with a heat-sealable coating incorporating anti-fog properties on one surface and plain polyester on the other. The anti-fog properties minimise fogging during freezing, chilling and cooking and also improve clarity when ‘breathable’ products such as fresh vegetables are packed. Mylar® OLAF provides a strong peelable seal when heat-sealed to itself, APET/CPET trays, polyester coated board, PETG, PVC and polycarbonate. Mylar® OLAF seals between 140° to 220°C, and is ideal for use as a self-venting lidding film for ready meals. Able to withstand temperatures as low as -70°C, Mylar® OLAF may be used in both microwave and conventional ovens where cooking is typically 220°C for 30 mins. When used as a single web, thinner grades of Mylar® OLAF may tear when opening.

Mylar® OL13 is a biaxially oriented polyester film with a heat-sealable coating on one surface and plain polyester on the other. The heat-seal surface is capable of sealing to rough or porous surfaces and to trays with preformed creases at the corners. Mylar® OL13 can be heat-sealed to itself, APET/CPET trays and polyester coated board. It seals in the range 140°C to 220°C, reaching full strength in one hour and provides a very strong seal at room temperature which becomes peelable when heated. Ideal for use as a lidding film, dual-ovenable ready meals sealed with Mylar® OL13 can be cooked typically at 220°C for 30mins, yet withstand temperatures as low as -70°C. Mylar® OL13AF has anti-fog incorporated into the heat-seal layer to minimise fogging during freezing, chilling and cooking. It can also be used to improve clarity, when ‘breathable’ products such as fresh vegetables are packed.
